Abstract

Background

Reflexology may help with several things, including migraine therapy, blood flow, and pain relief. Reflexology can enhance your health, prevent sickness, and elevate your mood if there are no irregularities. Reflexology is a treatment that relies on pressure. The foundation of this holistic treatment approach is the notion that a person's hands and feet symbolise each component of their body.

Method:

15 participants were chosen using an appropriate sample technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and they were then handled as a single group. This group received alternating 30-minute back massages and reflexology sessions until their symptoms vanished. Results:

The research comprised a total of 15 male patients. The pre-and post-test readings are used to produce the mean difference value on the visual analogue scale of 2.47 and the tiredness severity scale of 8.2. The standard deviation value for the visual analogue scale was 1.6 and the fatigue severity scale was 3.7, the paired 't' test value for the visual analogue scale was 5.98 and the fatigue severity scale was 8.37. The 2.08 values in the table were lower than the calculated "t" values. There is a noticeable change.

Conclusion

The study's conclusions showed that hemodialysis patients had less fatigue and pain. A back massage is less helpful than foot reflexology. Reflexology massage is a secure and affordable physiotherapy method for easing fatigue and discomfort in hemodialysis patients.
