Therapeutic Effect of Cu(II) Coordination Polymer Combined with Pravastatin in Regulating TLR4 Signaling Pathway During Eclampsia

Abstract

A Cu(II)-based coordination polymer (CP) with the chemical formula of [(Cu2
(μ4
-bsmb)(μ2
-bsmb))·H2
O]n
(1) was synthesized by reaction of a serine-derived ligand 1,4-bis((l-serine)methyl)benzene) (H2
bsmb)
with Cu(NO3
)
2
·3H2
O under a solvothermal reaction. The as-prepared CP was characterized by elemental analysis,
single-crystal X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Its application values on the
treatment of the eclampsia were evaluated and the related mechanism was explored. Firstly, the activation of the
TLR4 signaling pathway in the vascular endothelial cells was measured with real time RT-PCR. Next, the content
of the inflammatory cytokines released into the plasma was also measured with ELISA assay.
