Abstract

In the current study, via using the mixed-ligand synthesis approach, two new Cu(II) and Co(II)-containing coordination polymers (CPs) with the chemical compositions of {[Cu2
(L)[H(1,4-bmib)]]·1.5(H2
O)}n
(1,
1,4-bmib = 1,4-bis(2-methylimidazol-1-yl)butane) and {[Co2
(HL)(3,5-bip)2
]·(H2
O)}n
(2, 3,5-bip = 3,5-bis(1-imidazolyl)pyridine) have been successfully prepared by reaction of the corresponding metal salts with the flexible carboxylic ligand 3,5-bis(3,5-dicarboxylphenoxy)benzoic acid (H5
L) in the presence of different N-donor co-ligands.
Furthermore, the biological activity of compounds 1 and 2 on the hypotension after uterine oviduct and ovarian
surgery was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. Firstly, the blood pressure of the
hypotension animal model was measured. Besides, the relative expression of the α receptors on peripheral small
blood vessels was determined with real time RT-PCR assay.
