Abstract

In the present research, an octamolybdate-based Co(II)-coordination polymer [CoII(Bipbc)
(δ-Mo8
O26)0.5(H2
O)3
] (1) (Bipbc = 4,4´-bis[(4-carboxypyridino)methyl]biphenyl) was compounded by hydrothermal reaction of the [Mo7
O24]6− precursor with Co(II) cations in the circumstances of H2
BipbcCl2
ligand and structurally identified. Its application values on myocardial infarction were estimated and the principle of immanence
was discovered. First of all, the myocardial infarction area of the animal after compound treatment was determined.
Then, the real time RT-PCR was conducted and the relative expression of the Mir26a in the cardiomyocytes was
estimated after compound treatment. Furthermore, molecular docking simulation revealed that the new compound
indeed exhibited promising biological activity due to its carboxyl functional groups.
