Abstract

. In the present study, via using the mixed-ligand synthesis approach, two new zinc(II)-bearing coordination polymers (CPs) with the chemical formulae of [Co(L1)(PA)]n
(1) and [Co(L2)(PDA)]n
(2), L1 = 1,1’-hexane-1,6-diylbis(2-methyl-1H-benzimidazole), L2 = 1,1’-hexane-1,6-diylbis(1H-benzimidazole), H2
PA = phthalic
acid, H2
PDA = 1,4-phenylenediacetic acid)] have been successfully prepared via reaction of Co(NO3
)2
·6H2
O with
two similar bis(benzimidazole) ligands in the presence of dicarboxylic acid ligands. The ELISA was firstly conducted to determine the inhibitory activity of compounds 1 and 2 on the releasing of IL-18 during cervicitis. In
addition to this, the activation of NF-κB signaling pathway in the cervical epithelial cells was determined with real
time RT-PCR.
