Abstract

 Present here is the structural characterization and bioactivity evaluation of a new Co(II)-based coordination complex with the chemical formula of [Co2
(μ4
-dttpa)(μ6
-dttpa)(H2
O)2
]n
(1) which has been prepared via solvothermal reaction of Co(NO3
)
2
·6H2
O with the dual-functional ligand 2,5-di(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)terephthalic acid
(H2
dttpa). Furthermore, the biological activity of the new compound on candidal vaginitis was assessed, followed
by the mechanism exploration. The IL-10 and TGF-β levels in the plasma was measured with ELISA assay. The
inhibitory activity of the new compound on the candida survival gene was determined with real time RT-PCR assay.
