Abstract

Rosacea is a widespread chronic skin illness characterised by a persistent redness, flushing, the appearance of blood vessels, and the emergence of pimples that resemble acne. This study explores the therapeutic potential of a cream-gel formulation containing Curcuma longa (turmeric), Camellia sinensis (green tea), and Calendula oil for rosacea relief. These herbal ingredients were selected based on their known anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and soothing properties. The cream-gel formulation aims to alleviate the symptoms associated with rosacea, including redness, inflammation, and skin sensitivity. The ingredients were carefully chosen to target the various subtypes of rosacea and their distinct characteristics. Curcuma longa exhibits anti-inflammatory effects, Camellia sinensis provides antioxidant protection, and Calendula oil possesses soothing properties. The cream-gel formulation offers a promising approach for managing rosacea symptoms by addressing multiple aspects of the condition. Further research and clinical trials are needed to validate the efficacy and safety of this polyherbal cream-gel as a potential therapeutic option for individuals with rosacea
