Abstract

The Present Work is to Develop, Characterise and evaluate the Antiinflammatory Nanogel. The Nanogel of Anthocephalus cadamba is prepared by Solvent Diffusion Method using Carbopol 934 and Eudragit S100 as polymer, Poloxemer as Surfactant and Stabilizer and Triethanolamine as gelling Agent. All Compound are characterized for FTIR studies, Particle size analysis and evaluated formulations by Homogenecity, pH, Spreadability, Extrudability,, Drug Content Studies, Viscosity,In-Vitro Diffusion and Stability Studies. The drug and polymer are compatible with one another during preparation, according to FTIR measurements. Average Particle size range from 254-424nm . Homogeeity and extrudability studies reveal that nanogel was homogenousand easily extruable. The pH data shows all formulation are in range of 5.9-6.9 they are compatible to skin.Viscosity studies shows result in range of 3267-3530 cps hving good viscosity. Drug Content Studies of formulation were from 82.26% - 90.25%. In vitro Diffusion studies showed F4 Formulation had maximum 84.47 % drug release. From Stability Studies data, it was found that there was no difference in drug content and in vitro drug release. These indicates that prepared Annogel formulation are stable. Formulation F4 shows good Results for all Studies.
