Opportunities And Challenges In The Production Of Textile Industry Before And After Gst- Manufacturers’ Perspective

Abstract

Goods and Service Tax system was enacted after many diplomatic circumstances and it has been provided various opportunities to the corporate sector; the rationales of this regime make the industrial sector to face the challenges effectively in the business environment.  Industrial sector productive capacity was the major part to enhance the forex reserves exclusively Textile Industry.   It induces the researchers to identify the opportunities and challenges in the production of textile industry before or after GST implementation from the manufacturers’ perspective.  Source of data were collected from 225 respondents from the selected districts in Tamil Nadu and web sources and conducted during November 2022- March 2023 and web sources.  Data analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Paired Sample t test.
