Retail Pharmacy trade contributes more to the revenue of a nation like India. As in other businesses, the retail pharmacy trade also faces many problems. This study focuses on the problems faced by the Indian Retail Stores. It attempted to analyse the problems in various areas of the pharma trade. In addition to the study on the problems, this study also attempted to know the prospective aspects of pharma trade in the sub-urban locations of India. Conclusions were drawn based on the data collected from the Medical Stores on problems faced by them and the prospective features of the pharma trade in their place.
