Abstract

The current work has been taken place in order to make a microemulsion of ketorolac using various polymers. To discover the formulation variables for microemulsion production, pseudotemary phase diagrams were used at various oil to cosurfactant ratios, and the influence of these variables on Ketorolac skin permeation was studied using excised rat skin. The arachidonic acid-induced ear edema model was used to test Ketorolac's topical anti-inflammatory efficacy. Formulation E had a greater penetration rate and considerable anti-inflammatory efficacy. This work could be a starting work for upcoming researchers who can fulfill the research gaps that have aroused during the course of study so that more effective drug delivery system could be designed for the welfare of human race.
