Abstract

Background:- Immediate implant placement into extraction sockets has become a widely acceptable treatment option to decrease treatment time and enhance esthetics. The objectives of this study were to assess and compare the success and survival rates of immediate and early implant treatment as well as to investigate the effect of patient- and site-related variables on the treatment outcome. Method:- Data of 1 year  implants placement were collected with demographic details and characteristics. Survival and success rate as well as other factors like bone loss and pocket depth were recorded. Results:- 64 implant placement was included patients in which 30 immediate and 34 early placements were performed. The survival rate for the immediate placement group was 93.33% and in the early placement group was 100%.Conclusion:- The results of this study suggest that the success and survival rates of early placed implants were a little higher than immediately placed implants.
