Abstract

Objective: Our research work aim was the Assessment of Synergistic Protective Effect of Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum Extract Using Cisplatin Induced Hepato and Nephro Toxicity Rats Model.

Methods: Assessment of Synergistic Protective Effect of Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum Extract Using Cisplatin Induced Hepato and Nephro Toxicity Rats Model. Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum herbal aqueous extract in doses of 100 and 500 mg/kg Rat models was administered for a weeks. The biochemical parameters and histopathological evaluations parameters were used for estimation of hepatoprotective and nephrototective activity of Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum.

Result: The findings of all these evaluation parameters showed that Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum herbal aqueous extract have the potential hepatoprotective and nephrototective activity.

Conclusions: Punica grantum and Bryophyllum calycinum herbal aqueous extract could be used for the treatment and management of hepatopro toxicity and nephrotoxicity.
