A study to assess the level of knowledge on management of seizure for children Among staff Nurses in SMVMCH, at Puducherry

Abstract

“Children are one third of our population and all of our future”. A healthy child is a gift of our nation by god, as nurses we should promote, protect and prevent the child from disease. This period is very valuable and joyful period in a person’s life. Most of the study reveals that many children are suffering from seizure disorder. Nursing intervention involves assessment and follow-up care, which is the nurse's responsibility. A seizure occurs when your brain is suddenly electrically stimulated without your control. Changes in behavior, movements, and feelings, as well as in consciousness levels, can be caused by it.
