Transferosomes are ultradeformable vesicles for transdermal applications consisting of a lipid bilayer with phospholipids and an edge activator and an ethanol/aqueous core. The objective of this study is to formulate ultraflexible lipid vesicles for enhanced skin delivery of 5-FU. The prepared system was evaluated for its physicochemical characteristics, such as particle size, entrapment efficiency, stability, and In-vitro skin permeation.
