Abstract

Human Rights guaranteed by our Constitution is being protected and promoted by each and every service activities of the Government. Human Rightsestablished by our law such as Right to life, liberty, equality and dignity of each individual are ensured in respect of ‘The Protection of Human rights act 1993’. Land is a very essential source of life activities like housing, cultivation, business, etc. The land registration is the only source for title ownership of a person to enjoy his property.  The Registration Department is a designated authority recording these property of land  transactions or activities in the form of document and maintain it as a perpetual public record. The various activities and governmental services rendered to public in Registration department ensures and procures all the citizens the enjoyment of the human rights. Thisarticle enumerates the role of Registration departmentdirectly and indirectly  in Protection and Promotion of Human Rights.
